New Moon in Scorpio will occur
on November 16, 2009 at 2:14 pm EST Washington D.C.
November 26th is Thanksgiving Day in
the USA. Wishing all those who celebrate a warm, festive,
and Happy Thanksgiving.
It would be a good idea astrologically
to have your holiday gifts bought and wrapped before
the next New Moon, December 16. Mars will
turn retrograde on the 20th of December, therefore you
may be prone to hiding presents and forgetting where
they are. (This has happened to me several times and
I looked up the dates, only to discover Mars Rx! Those
years were the ones that found my son Chris complaining
that his best present showed up after Christmas.)
Jupiter is conjunct Neptune
on the 21st of December, therefore celebrating
too much may cause messy present wrapping! Take my advise
and have it all done early.
November 15th, Saturn Square
Pluto (a review from Libra New Moon Report)
The aspect is in effect for several weeks before and
after the exact date. It tends to reverse markets,
but rarely more than 5%. This square forces changes
in leadership of corporations all the way down to small
businesses. The taxpayers are not pleased and states
with elections this month will be the first to notice
(they noticed). Saturn is in Libra and insists on a
level playing field. Everyone must be treated equally.
Pluto is in Capricorn and folks are not pleased with
institutional leadership and they are not even pleased
with own clubs. They will insist on change or withdraw
their support. The excuse is fairness, but the reason
is failure of the old boy/girl network when replacing
leadership.
December 15, 2009 Jupiter conjunct
Chiron
Chiron in astrology is considered the maverick and the
wounded healer. Corporations burdened by too many subsidiaries
under one umbrella will find it necessary to divest
themselves of these businesses. The newly departed companies
could take on a new life and become very profitable,
or without the support of their parent they could wither.
It will be important to study the debt on each new balance
sheet.
In Financial Astrology, Chiron tends
to indicate mergers, acquisitions and spin offs. Jupiter
indicates a plentiful supply. During the 1990's companies
made acquisitions to increase shareholder value. After
2003 with the lowering of capital gains taxes, companies
began to spin off acquisitions that no longer made sense
to their business plan. Many of the Dow stocks are burdened
with subsidiaries that just need to spin off. With this
conjunction you will hear even more news about Spins.
Some could be very profitable to share holders. For
example: GE's IPO has Jupiter at 26 Aquarius with transiting
Chiron making a conjunction. GE has been discussing
the sale of NBC for the past few months.
December 21, 2009 Jupiter will
be conjunct Neptune
This aspect creates a rather euphoric attitude among
the public. Folks tend to think that they will be able
to conquer their problems and will be in a great holiday
spirit. This is especially true for entrepreneurs and
folks who depend on their creativity to earn a living.
From the beginning of December it is important to take
notes on your ideas and start working on your own business
plans. You will have 80 days of Mars retrograde starting
December 20 to polish the details. Major lows occur
close to this date so keep some cash on hand to invest.
The New Moon appears
in the eighth house -November 16th
(Non USA members
please set the New Moon chart for the capital of your
country and note the house position of the New Moon
- Textbook
4, page 30 will help you interpret the new moon
for your own country)
The New Moon in the eighth means that
the concentration of the public is on insurance and
taxes. It is the reaction of government to add more
taxes when they have a shortfall in their collections.
The public sees the problem as if you don't have a job,
you cannot earn any money to pay the taxes. This quiet
boycott is cutting into the projected collection of
tax revenues. The same is true with insurance. There
is also a problem of leadership passing away. No
one is available to explain how to get things done efficiently
or to encourage managers to help the employees do their
work.
Mercury in the eighth house
Folks are concerned with the laws that require unexpected
taxes when dealing with gifts and inheritance. The world
wide web is helpful but others will require detailed
advise to solve the problems. Doctors, lawyers
and accountants will find that their services are in
demand.
Venus in the eighth house
Venus is very intense in Scorpio and insists that you
consider thrifty purchases with your earned income.
Problem is that a great deal of energy is required to
earn the income needed to pay for purchases, and thrifty
takes time and thought. Folks are silently rebelling
against certain taxes by boycotting items that require
excess taxes. Fewer sin taxes are collected when fewer
items are sold.
Pluto in the tenth house
Executives and government leaders are in the midst of
some awkward situations concerning the management of
their assigned projects. Pluto is square Saturn, therefore
suggesting that leaders are stuck on the issue of finding
experts for advise. Professional advisers are busy helping
their friends and neighbors and explain that they are
not available to help corporate or government leadership.
The public's perception of their work is that they have
no concept of a budget. Leaders are striving for absolute
power and finding folks not very cooperative.
Jupiter in the twelfth house
Jupiter is in the final degrees of Aquarius and in the
twelfth house. Scandals concerning fraud, embezzlement
and secret detention prisons will scandalize various
governments and institutions. Officials will be exposed
for their heavy expenses and ludicrous book keeping.
The internet will help bring the performance of these
officials to the attention of the public.
Neptune in the twelfth house
Fraud is in abundant supply. Information concerning
the mismanagement of the receipts of supposedly respected
charitable institutions overwhelms the public. Scandals
concerning the administration of services meant to help
the poor, handicapped and minorities proliferate. Donations
to these charities diminish quickly.
Uranus in the tenth
Innovation is a key word with Uranus, and management
will have the opportunity to reform their actions. People
are extremely dissatisfied with the performance of their
leaders, but are willing to listen to announcements
and disclosures that promise improvements. Governments
seek to console the populace by adding more controls
that promise to reform the administration of public
institutions.
The best example of the changes brought
by Uranus in Pisces is the creation of a whole new business
model for the sale and distribution of music. This holiday
season will spell the end of music sales through traditional
venues. Creative folks at every level have seen massive
changes concerning the sale of their products. Content
providers, whether writing fact or fiction, must adapt
to the same drastic changes that are very obvious in
the field of music.
Expect that Uranus will do the same
to manufacturing next year when he starts his transit
through Aries starting in June, 2010.
Mars in the fifth house
Mars in Leo will create some wonderful new games and
toys. Mars here puts a great deal of stress on entertainment
venues. Audiences are very tense and not easily pleased
by the actors, musicians and sports teams they paid
to amuse them.
Saturn in the seventh
There are opportunities here to solve some international
problems using diplomacy and talking one on one. The
conflict is between the need for fair treatment and
the desire for power. Folks are dissatisfied with
current conditions and look to their leaders for answers
to their difficulties. Few leaders are available to
help.
Goldilocks continues...
'Baby Bear' appeared on the caller
ID. "Hi Baby Bear, when did you get your own
cell phone? WOW, Baby Bear, did Mama Bear buy it for
you?"
"I bought it myself with my tips
from Mama's Porridge kiosk! I have 6 honey jars full
of tips. Papa said we can go to Disney World for Christmas...You
should be here in Washington D.C. Papa parks the RV
on the Mall and protestors and reporters buy porridge
all day... Here's Mama"
"Hi Goldilocks, Papa says we
should pack up the RV and go to Florida. He's right,
you know, we've been working day and night we need
the time off."
"Mama Bear, that's fine... I
was beginning to panic because I can't find a plane
for Ferdinand. The Breeders Cup is this week and absolutely
nothing will be available for at least a month. Ferdinand
loves his Greenhouse Garden on the roof; he's made
friends with the pigeons. I wish you were here to
see it. The flowers are gorgeous. Oh! I bought my
dress for the wedding. I'll send Baby Bear's phone
pictures.
