Jupiter
in Aquarius
Jupiter's
transit through Aquarius, January 2009 - January 2010
by Kaye Shinker
December, 2008
January 5, 2009 Jupiter enters Aquarius
The Twelfth Day of Christmas and all the religious groups have celebrated
the holidays. We open our eyes to find Jupiter in Aquarius.
Jupiter aligns with Mars during the 2009 Transit
Remember the song "Let the Sun Shine In" with the lyrics
"This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius" … When
the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars"
?
OK, everyday the Moon is in the seventh
house for about two hours in every place in the world. Every two
years Jupiter aligns with Mars, but it only has made two conjunctions
with Mars in Aquarius since the Musical Hair was first performed
December 2, 1967. Those dates when Mars and Jupiter were conjunct
were April 8, 1973 at 8 degrees Aquarius and January 21, 1998 at
26 degrees Aquarius.
Jupiter aligns with Mars
Once again we can sing "Let the sun shine in".
February 17, 2009 Mars will energize Jupiter's expansive nature.
We can hope that, maybe, "Peace will guide the planet
and love will find the stars."
Astronomically this IS the Dawning of the age of
Aquarius. However, the problem is dawn takes a while, and
in the Precession of the Equinox that can be as much as 300 years
- plenty of time for more alignments of Mars and Jupiter in Aquarius!
Jupiter's transit of Capricorn
Throughout 2008 Jupiter and Pluto occupied Capricorn; we witnessed
a phenomenon known as Demand Destruction: houses, gasoline, cars,
Euros, brokerage houses, and banks. All too big and too complex
to manage.
Together they have destroyed the old economy and
Jupiter's entrance into Aquarius will help you start thinking about
where the new opportunities begin.
Jupiter transits Aquarius
Throughout 2009 Jupiter will transit Aquarius, which is currently
occupied by Neptune's transit of Aquarius. The positive result is
the electric fields of Jupiter magnify the creative energies of
Neptune and super creativity is the result. Everyone can expect
an "AH HA" moment.
This conjunction has a historical correlation with
increased Sun spot activity. In our time the resulting solar flares
are very difficult for satellites and electrical infrastructure.
Will there be a spiritual Awakening? Will we become
more intuitive? No, that is Pisces. Pisces is the sign that rules
intuitiveness among other things, and the planet Uranus is transiting
that sign at the moment. Jupiter will get there, guaranteed.
What does Jupiter promise during his transit of Aquarius? The phenomena
described may be "Nerd Numbness". Too many electronic
toys, too many gadgets, and way too much information!
Mars conjunct Jupiter - February 17, 2009 is the start date
Aquarius rules stuff that plugs into electrical outlets. You are
reading this on one of these items. Think about the whole system
that delivers the energy (Mars), and then what happens when it is
in abundant supply, or for that matter, free.
Getting off the grid and acquiring free energy
is the current mission of the paradigm shift generated by Pluto
in Capricorn. Jupiter in Aquarius insists on speeding up the process,
generating a whole new world economy.
What does Aquarius rule?
Aquarius rules science, research, spaceships, satellites, communication
devises, and airplanes.
Picture these in abundant supply and, therefore,
cheap. (Check the Textbook
for Financial Astrology for sectors ruled by Aquarius.
Part 3 explains the formula for finding those things ruled by Taurus
and scope out what will be in short supply)
Stuff ruled by Leo, the sign opposite Aquarius,
will also be in abundant supply. For example: entertainment,
casinos, and gold.
Scientists of all stripes are publishing their work. They don't
need peer review to put it on the web. For example:
Researchers recently told us that generic drugs work exactly like
their brand name equivalent. "DUH" was the public reaction.
What happens to big Pharma as a result? They add more talent to
the ranks of the unemployed. What happens to their scientists? They
live on their unemployment checks, read a few novels, and the back
burner of their brain starts cooking.
How about airplanes? If your business conference is over the net,
then business class travel is not required. Folks will travel for
pleasure or adventure. Airplanes are relegated to hauling perishable
freight or tourists.
Communication devises are in abundant supply competing for the eyes
and ears of the public. You knew that. And the winner is "word
of mouth" or, in this case, "word of typing." The
cell phone sells. Advertising looks for additional ways to
capitalize on this phenomenon.
Spaceships to Mars
Every country in the world sends up satellites and spaceships near
to earth's orbit as well as the Moon and Mars. They publish their
pictures on the net, sparking the imagination of youngsters and
science fiction writers.
Mars will turn retrograde December 20, 2009. This
is the optimum time to send space probes to Mars, and several countries
have missions ready to launch. Let's hope that the conjunction of
Jupiter and Neptune does not interfere. The rule of three will be
in effect the day of the Winter Solstice. (see article, The
Mythical Recession, Part 2)
The optimistic view is a creative breakthrough
which applies to everyone on the planet.
Creativity abounds
Folks stop whining, wringing their hands, saying "poor me"
and go to work on their ideas. The ingenious unemployed salesmen
agree to sell the idea. Of course FREE is the key word to sales,
and free energy sells Aquarius stuff. There is an abundant supply
of Aquarius stuff to be sold!
During Jupiter's transit of Aquarius he makes a conjunction with
Neptune, May 27th, July 10th and December 21. Remember they are
brothers, Jupiter and Neptune. (Read The
Textbook For Financial Astrology, Part 4) Jupiter is
always ready to give his brother a hand, therefore, expect that
creativity and great ideas will spread quickly.
Each conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune will produce
a new wave of inventions ready for public consumption. A whole new
class of entrepreneurs are about to take charge!
After May 27th start looking for IPO's, possible
spin offs and great ideas in your area. You might want to invest
or barter your skills.
Think Pink, OK think Apple
Jupiter transiting Aquarius is telling us to think pink, or construction
yellow, or even orange. Jupiter is telling us it is OK to
think really outside the box. In fact, the path leading
to a spiritual awakening is the yellow brick road. And at
the end of the road is a box full of electronic stuff that magnifies
your voice.
We can lament the changing of the guard, but
the planets keep changing signs and making life interesting. The
planets are the measuring devises of change. Read my articles
