The
New Moon in Aquarius, February 2, 2011 at 9:51 PM EST Washington D.C.
Ground
Hog Day falls on this New Moon. Spring will be late this year
as it will be a sunny day and Punxsutawney Phil will return to his
burrow.
February
3 is the Chinese New Year (Year of the Rabbit) The Chinese
new year always begins on the second new Moon after the previous Winter
Solstice.
February
9th Chiron enters Pisces
Chiron is considered a teacher, a maverick and a healer. Chiron tries
to fix things by thinking out of the box and then showing you how to
do the same. While transiting Aquarius Chiron taught all of us new ways
to read a book with a Kindle and an IPad. If Chiron is going to try
to fix Pisces things then we will see new inventions in the energy sector,
the pharmacy sector and music/dancing sector. Investors keep your eyes
open wide.
February
19th Super Full Moon
When the moon is closest to the earth (perigee) at the same time as
a Full Moon then we have a Super Moon. Weather will be a difficult problem.
Super Moons tend to ignite the ring of fire with earthquakes, and volcanic
eruptions. However we can also expect activity in the area of Northern
Europe south to Africa where the January 4th eclipse was visible.
February
26th Jupiter Square Pluto at 7 degrees Aries/Capricorn
This is an aspect that says I’m going to teach you how to use
your power. Aries means I’m going to show you a new way that you
never thought about and I’m going to show it to business as well
as governments. The square says it is a hard lesson but you are going
to learn. Traders will be advised to be diligent at placing stops and
investors should be careful to avoid long term buys.
The
first four months of 2011 will focus on Money.
A Financial Astrologer looks first at the money houses in the
chart for the New Moon. The Capricorn New Moon, January 4th,
fell in the second house putting an emphasis on how you earn money one
hour at a time. The Aquarius New Moon appears in the fifth house, therefore
the emphasis will be on taking risks with money. The Pisces New
Moon, March 4 , will be in the eighth house and the focus of attention
will be insurance and taxes. The Aries New Moon will appear in the eleventh
and discuss earnings from career, dividends, and interest on investments.

This New Moon is meant for traders at every level. The fifth house
rules fun, laughter, and giggles. It tells us about creative self-expression,
children, romance and love affairs. In Financial Astrology it
is about gambling, speculation and the commodities markets. The
New Moon means it is time for a fresh new start, a new beginning, a
new attitude. In Aquarius it means technological fun. It is a
Moon that encourages you to take a risk and try new ideas. In the brilliant
sign of Aquarius everyone feels they are extremely intelligent and able
to out maneuver their rivals. Sports and exercise are the emphasis and
highlighting fun at resorts and sporting events. Theaters, education,
and the birth-rate will be the focus of attention in the market place.
Mars
appears in the 5th House
In a conjunction with the New Moon this Mars in Aquarius gives a tremendous
amount of energy to those things mentioned above. Traders will focus
on quick gains and nee to cover their risks especially if they are trading
options. The first few days after the New Moon will give investors an
opportunity to buy new equities that have a promising future. It is
a time for high energy and an excellent time to start new projects and
new businesses.
Neptune
appears in the 5th House
Scandals, shocking unethical behavior and whistle blowers will dominate
the headlines. Gambling and sports betting will be exposed where it
is illegal and bring higher revenues to areas where it is legal. Vacation
areas known for their casinos will prosper. Commodities exchanges will
experience a higher numbers of trades.
Uranus
appears in the 6th House
Technology creates the opportunity for 'wildcat' strikes that surprise
authorities.
“Buyer strikes” will organize quickly and as a result become
extremely effective.
Jupiter
appears in the 6th House
Money will be spent on the military establishment especially in the
area of vehicles. New contracts will be let for heavy equipment needed
for construction. Workers will find jobs tearing down abandoned structures
as the land they occupy becomes more valuable. The nodes leave Capricorn
and Cancer at the next new moon and thus the real estate market is due

Saturn
appears in the 1st House
Folks become progressively more optimistic throughout the month ahead.
Many have found new inexpensive ways to have fun with friends and family.
Some are enjoying the excitement of building new enterprises and others
the opportunity to work in a new business.
Venus
appears in the 3rd House
Employees find working conditions improve and new people are hired.
Wages improve and people have a bit of extra income. Folks begin to
replace their vehicles, but they are serious about shopping for price/value.
Pluto
appears in the 4th House
There is a call to adventure and a new spiritual awareness among the
people. Folks insist on being friends with their neighbors and there
is an increasing awareness of the advantages of the grand family. Pluto
here also predicts increased earthquake activity and difficult weather
especially along the eastern seaboard of the USA.
Mercury
appears in the 4th House
Opportunities are everywhere in Agriculture. Opportunities abound for
local growers especially for food products that require the special
attention.
