Jupiter's
transit through Taurus, June 4, 2011- June 11, 2012

Jupiter in Taurus
Four quick months in Aries and Jupiter is ready to slow down and
give the economy a rest. The markets slow down and the traders
take a vacation. The economy consolidates and builds very
slowly. Supply meets demand and new inventions begin their
marketing campaigns. Wars that are underway continue to be
fought.
Jupiter begins his transit of Taurus June 4, 2011
and leaves June 11, 2012.
Jupiter
The planet Jupiter’s synodic cycle is
about 12 years. A Jupiter day is about 10 hours. The
planet is a ball of gas with swirling clouds that produce intense
colors including Jupiter's great Red spot. Smaller spots appear
from time to time. Jupiter has four main rings and at last
count 63 moons. Four of his moons are visible with binoculars
or a backyard telescope. The space probe Voyager recorded
the weird sounds or radio waves emited by Jupiter. For more interesting
facts about the planet Jupiter, go to:

The Greek name for Jupiter is Zeus. Zeus ruled
Mount Olympus with his extended family and many children. Greek
and Roman mythology has a multitude of stories concerning the antics
of Jupiter. He was belived to control the weather, including
rainfall. His counterpart among the Nordic gods was Thor the
God of Thunder and Thurday is Jupiter’s day.
Financial astrologers have observed over time that
Jupiter expands the supply of things ruled by the sign he transits.
Therefore a larger supply of something will tend to bring
down the price of the item. Companies who supply the product/service
will experience thinner profit margins.
Taurus
The zodiac sign of Taurus is about money, banks, financial institutions.
It is about earning money, and accumulating it. People will
accumulate cash and seek ways to make safe investments. Banks
will have a large supply of cash and will need to find unique products
to lend it. In the Textbook
for Financial Astrology you will find a list of items and sectors
ruled by Taurus.
Recent experience with Wall Street bankers has start-up
companies wary of public financing. New types of venture capital
options will appear throughout the world giving clever entreprenuers
a variety of ways to finance their inventions.
During the year of Jupiter’s transit through
Taurus the supply of beans, corn and cattle will increase. Farmers
will have plenty to sell and therefore the price for these commodities
will decrease. Farms will earn fewer dollars and have less
disposable income. Grocery stores will be required to discount these
items therefore squeezing their margins.
Beauty supplies and costume jewelry will be in
abundant supply as fashion trends change. Around the world
the baby boom of WWII is retiring and their demand for fashion items
will decrease and therefore the supply will increase.
The supply of copper will increase as the demand
for it as a building material decreases.
Jupiter’s transit through Taurus puts an emphsis
on the desire of the individual to earn money. People will have
a positive ‘can do’ attitude concerning their talents
and ability. They will insist on spending money on beautiful
things and refuse to buy junk.

The greatest invention “since sliced bread”
happened during the 1928 transit of Jupiter through Taurus. The
story of inventions through the 20th Century when Jupiter transited

One of the methods for finding a stock with a chance
of increasing in price is to see if their IPO can expect a Jupiter
return. Another is to find an IPO with a Sun or Moon
in the same Sign that Jupiter will transit.

that have a chance to outperform the markets during 2011-12. In
the Textbook for Financial
Astrology I explain how to analyze an astrological chart in
order to determine whether the company will perform during the month
and year ahead. Astrological Investing suggests that
you check the Incorporation and IPO chart from the astrological
point of view before you invest your time/money in a specific equity.
After you check their astrological charts then it is time
to look at the technical analysis.
